What it is and who it's for
Braces and clear aligners slowly move teeth into better positions, helping with crowding, gaps or a bite that doesn't meet well. Metal braces are sturdy and usually cost the least, and ceramic braces work the same way but are tooth-coloured. Clear aligners are removable trays that suit many cases, though not all, and need to be worn most of the day. All three can suit teenagers and adults, as long as the teeth and gums are healthy.

Common questions
Do braces or aligners hurt?
Fitting them does not usually hurt. Your teeth may feel sore for a few days after fitting, and after each adjustment or new set of aligners. Soft food helps. Braces can rub your cheeks at first, and dental wax eases that.
How much do braces or aligners cost?
It depends on the type you choose, how much your teeth need to move and how long it is likely to take. After the consultation, you get a clear written quote, so you know the cost before treatment starts.
How long does it take?
Usually about 12–24 months, depending on how much your teeth need to move. Mild cases can be shorter, and complex ones longer. Expect a visit about every 4–8 weeks, and retainers afterwards.
Is it safe? How do you keep things sterile?
Moving teeth with braces or aligners is well established. It is done slowly, with regular checks on your teeth and gums. Keeping your teeth clean during treatment matters a lot, and we'll show you how. Instruments go through central sterilisation between patients.

Yes. We're open on Sundays, 11 AM–5 PM. Our full hours are Mon–Sat 10:30 AM–8 PM · Sun 11 AM–5 PM. Hours can change around festivals, so please check with us before you travel on those days.
